Health Coaching

I am a newly certified health coach in the US. I'd really love to incorporate your approach into my coaching, while staying within scope of practice. I also see that you offer education for doctors with the lifestyle medicine approach. Do you anticipate offering training for coaches? Do you have any suggestions for implementing your approach within the health coaching scope of practice? Thank you!

Hypothyroidism (under-active thyroid)

Given the recent ability to reverse some forms of diabetes, is there any hope for new treatments or strategies to reverse hypo-thyroidism? I have had hypo-thyroidism since 2000, following the birth of my first child. I take 125mcg levothyroxine daily. I have watched the research into diabetes with interest but have no idea what research might be happening into other hormonal/metabolic disorders and would love to know.

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Please could you do an episode on the most effective ways of reducing high blood pressure. During lockdown, I made progress with weight loss and exercise (thanks partly to your podcast!) and reduced medication by half. However, I have not been on blood pressure medicine for that long, nor has my GP suggested alternatives other than pills. The first pill I tried was terrifying and I felt sea-sick most of the time. The second - losartin potassium - has not had the side effects but seems less effective. I don't want to be taking these pills so what can I do to help myself come off them?

Post Menopausal

Firstly, a huge thank you Rangan for all of the amazing work that you have done & continue to do, to improve so many people’s lives. I would appreciate hearing from an expert on the menopause. Female bodies go through so much through the menopause which impact physically, emotionally and spiritually. I would particularly like to hear about tips for optimum health, post menopause, without taking HRT or any other medication. Thanks Rangan

Advice for carers

I know you have experience caring for relatives. I live with and care for my grandparents in their late 80s. I find myself very stressed as there is always something to be done alongside managing working full time and my own life. How do you best manage the stress of providing care and trying to look after your own life too. Thanks very much!
